UB students, faculty and staff can use UBbox to store, share and access academic and university-related documents from anywhere, with people inside and outside of UB.
Using UBbox in your courses is a great way to collect and store assignments and projects from your students, and it can be embedded into UB Learns. Here are a few tutorials to get you started using UBbox.

Collaborators outside of UB with whom you have shared folders and files receive an invitation to create a box account and accept UB terms. They should follow the directions in the email invite to create a free box account. They will then log into box.com (not UBbox) to view shared files.
No. Set the Access Type to "Anyone with the link" when sharing the custom URL with people who don't have a Box account.
No. As long as you correctly set the permissions as "Anyone with the link," as described above, anybody visiting the Web page where you have embedded your file or folder can see it.
Yes. If you use the steps above to share and embed a folder and use advanced options to permit downloads, visitors to your site can download the entire folder as a "ZIP" file (a standard format for compressing files).
UBbox is appropriate for university data, Categories I-III. A special account is required to store Category I Restricted Data (such as Social Security Numbers, banking, health, and legal information). Please contact your IT department or the UBIT Help Center for more information.
